WorldSkills UK National Finals Broadcast logoThe WorldSkills UK National Finals medal ceremony will broadcast live tomorrow (Friday 26 November) at 4pm, celebrating the talent and skill of students and apprentices across the UK.

Hosted by top TV presenter Steph McGovern from her Channel 4 Packed Lunch studio, the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of this year’s WorldSkills National Finals for Security apprentices will be formally announced during the medal ceremony.

The WorldSkills UK National Finals took place from 9-19 November and saw more than 470 students competing in 64 competitions across the UK to be crowned a national skills champion.  The final for security technician apprentices was part of last week’s National Finals and took place at the Skills for Security training centre in Warrington.

Viewers of the ceremony are encouraged to send in pictures of their celebrations to the WorldSkills UK social media channels by tagging @worldskillsuk and using the hashtag #WSUKfinals.

A selection of ‘shout-outs’ will be posted on a live social media wall as part of the ceremony.
