Simon Banks Joins NSI Board

NSI are pleased to announce that Simon Banks, Group Managing Director of CSL Communications Group Ltd has been appointed to the Inspectorate’s Board of Directors.  NSI has recently undertaken a significant rebranding exercise, launched a contemporary website, entered into social media and launched a range of new audit products within the fire and security domains.  Simon’s presence on the Board will assist NSI’s future development and evolution.  Simon has had a working alliance with NSI for over 20 years and has worked most recently with them on the 100 in 100 Apprenticeship initiative, of which NSI are an important stakeholder.

NSI’s Chief Executive, Jeff Little OBE commented “Simon’s presence will considerably enhance NSI’s understanding of the changes which are taking place across the security sector as well as the new technologies which will determine the way ahead for the industry.”

Simon commented “I am very pleased to be asked, and feel that I can make a positive contribution to the wider industry through this appointment.  I look forward to further enhancing the connection between NSI and their approved companies and industry stakeholders.”

In order to ensure independence and impartiality, as well as demonstrating competencies across all areas, NSI Board members are drawn from a broad range of professional backgrounds including the systems, guarding, fire and insurance sectors and include observers from ACPO and CFOA.
