NSI Summit Sessions Announced

This year's NSI Summit on 22 March will be a packed day featuring industry updates including the new Electronic Call Handling Operation (ECHO) and NSI's NCP 104 Code of Practice for the design, installation and maintenance of CCTV surveillance systems plus a series of short, informative conference sessions specially selected to benefit all of our approved companies.

Sessions from John Livermore (BT plc), Ian Mansfield MBE (Vision Security Group/VSG), Bill Fox (Maybo), are among those that have just been announced for this year’s must-see presentations:

Bill Fox, Chairman, Maybo – ‘The Role of Personal Equipment in the Prevention and Management of Violence’ – the presentation will include a business case including the true costs and value of equipment such as ‘body cams’ and restraints and offer key considerations for employers when making decisions on purchase and issue.

Ian Mansfield MBE, Security Adviser, VSG – ‘the Strength of Partnerships for Protecting Public Access Spaces’ – With the continued threat from terrorism there is an ever-greater emphasis to improve on current partnership working and finding and developing new private/public sector partnerships.  This presentation will use real life examples of successful initiatives.

John Livermore, Senior Product Manager, BT plc – ‘Understanding BT’s Digital Voice Programme’ The presentation will include how BT will roll out its ALL IP programme and its effects on the alarm industry.
