Consultation on a future regime for the private Security Industry
The Home Office has today (20th November 2012) released its ‘Consultation on a future regulatory regime for the Private Security Industry’. The document outlines and seeks input of the Government’s preferred option for “reforming how the Private Security Industry is regulated.” There is a relatively tight timeframe for responses with a deadline of 15th January 2013.
The consultation details how responses can be submitted either in writing or on-line. NSI will be responding direct to the consultation however, we would welcome feedback from those in the Security Guarding Industry so that these may be taken into account in our submission. Please email chris.pinder@nsi.org.uk. In addition, all companies with an interest may also respond directly to the Home Office.
